Is SturdyBee licensed and insured?

Yes. SturdyBee Property Solutions is fully insured with comprehensive general liability coverage. All team members are covered under WorkSafeBC (WCB). We are also a Google Guaranteed business.

What are your business hours?

Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For urgent repairs, please call us at (604) 366-4087 and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

How much does SturdyBee charge?

Our pricing depends on the scope of work. We offer pre-priced handyman time blocks starting at 2-hour increments, cleaning packages, and painting/suite refresh packages. Additional handyman hours are billed at $79 + GST per hour. Visit our Pricing page for full details.

Do you offer free estimates?

Are there any hidden fees?

No. We pride ourselves on transparent pricing. You'll receive a clear quote before any work begins, and we communicate proactively if anything changes during the project.

How long does a kitchen renovation take?

A typical kitchen renovation takes 3-6 weeks depending on the scope of work. Simple updates like painting cabinets and replacing countertops can be done in 1-2 weeks, while full gut renovations with plumbing and electrical changes take longer.

How long does a bathroom renovation take?

Most bathroom renovations take 2-4 weeks. The timeline depends on factors like tile work, plumbing changes, and whether you're doing a refresh or a complete remodel.

Do you handle building permits?

We can assist with the permitting process for projects that require it. During the consultation phase, we'll advise you on whether permits are needed and help coordinate the process.

What is your cancellation policy?

We appreciate at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to reschedule, and we'll work to find a new time that suits you.

Do I need to be home during the work?

For most projects, it's helpful but not always required. We can arrange secure key access for trusted, ongoing clients. We'll discuss the best arrangement during scheduling.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept e-transfer, credit cards, and cheques. Payment terms are discussed and agreed upon before the project begins.
