For most jobs, we provide a written estimate over the phone or after a quick in-person visit. The estimate is detailed, itemized, and has no obligation to proceed. No vague 'it depends' answers.

Approve & Schedule
Once you approve the estimate, we schedule the work at a time that suits you. We confirm the appointment 24 hours in advance and again on the morning of the job.

Our team arrives on time, in uniform, with all the tools and materials needed. You'll receive regular updates during the job — no disappearing acts, no surprises. We keep your space tidy while we work and do a walkthrough with you at the end.

What We Guarantee.
No hidden fees
What we quote is what you pay. Materials are itemized separately from labour. If scope changes mid-job (it sometimes does), we discuss it with you before proceeding.
We show up on time
We know your time matters. If something comes up, we call ahead. We don't double-book or bump your appointment without notice.
Clean worksites
We protect floors and surfaces, contain dust where required, and remove all job-related debris. You shouldn't need to clean up after us.
WCB covered
All SturdyBee workers are covered under WorkSafeBC (WCB). This protects you from liability if anyone is injured on your property during the job.
Fully insured
We carry comprehensive general liability insurance. If something is accidentally damaged during the job, you're covered. We don't dodge accountability.
Google Guaranteed
Google has independently verified our business, licensing, and insurance. Google Guaranteed means Google backs eligible jobs — an extra layer of protection for you.

Things Clients Ask.
Do I need to be home during the work?
For most jobs, no — as long as we can access the work area. Many clients give us a key or door code. We'll confirm the access arrangements when scheduling.
Do you bring your own materials?
Yes. We bring all tools and most common materials. For specialty items or finish materials you've selected (tile, fixtures, paint colour), we coordinate with you on procurement and can pick up materials on your behalf if needed.
What if the job takes longer than estimated?
If we encounter something unexpected that changes the scope, we stop and talk to you before proceeding. We don't pile on additional charges without your approval.
Do you pull permits?
For jobs requiring permits (structural work, plumbing, electrical panels, HVAC), we'll let you know upfront and can coordinate the permit process. Minor repairs and cosmetic work typically don't require permits.

We serve Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley — 18 cities including Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, Surrey, Richmond, New Westminster, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Langley, Delta, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, and White Rock.
How do I pay?
We accept e-transfer, credit card, cheque, and cash. Payment is due at completion of the job. For larger projects, we may request a deposit to cover materials.
