The Challenge

The warehouse had bare concrete floors throughout — functional for storage, but poor for a space being transitioned into a more professional working environment. The concrete needed to be assessed and prepared before flooring could be installed, and a durable commercial-grade material was needed that could handle foot traffic and look professional without requiring the maintenance of natural wood.

Scope of Work

• Concrete subfloor assessment and preparation — grinding of high spots, cleaning
• Moisture testing of concrete slab
• Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) installation throughout main warehouse floor area
• LVP installation in back hallway
• Baseboard installation and caulking
• Threshold and transition strip installation

The concrete subfloor was assessed for high spots and moisture before installation began. The flooring was run consistently through both the main floor and hallway with matching transition strips for a unified finish.

The warehouse floor was fully transformed from bare concrete to a clean, polished wood-look surface.
